The Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation (JCCF) is the single-most important vehicle for raising private funds for cancer research at UCLA. Prevention, detection, and treatment define the mission of UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC). The JCCC has an international reputation for developing new cancer therapies, providing the best in experimental and traditional treatments, and expertly guiding and training the next generation of medical researchers. Under the direction of Dr. Judith C. Gasson, the JCCC has been ranked among the nation’s top 10 by U.S. News & World Report.
One of only 39 cancer centers in the United States to hold the esteemed designation of “comprehensive” from the National Cancer Institute, the JCCC is a collaborative and interdisciplinary research enterprise that brings together over 240 investigators representing some 40 disciplines at UCLA—all dedicated to fighting cancer.
