Imani Corporation is a 501(c) 3 non profit organization, established in 1993 with its original program for youth, Imani Phi Christ.  Imani’s mission is to help African American youth and women maximize their potential.  This work of reaching maximum potential is accomplished through Imani’s 2 programs, Imani Phi Christ, for teenage girls and Imani Life Transformations, for adult women.

Imani Corporation’s youth program Imani Phi Christ was founded in the wake of the Los Angeles riots, with the objective to have a positive impact on young women of color who live in impoverished environments. We accomplish this through our mentorship, self-development, college prep and financial literacy programming targeted to young women of color between the ages of 13 – 19 years old.  Our track record to date is;

• 99% of our members graduate from high school.
• 83% of our high school graduates, go to college.
• 95% graduate from colleges throughout the country.

Our silent auction raises the monies needed for Imani Corporation’s youth program, Imani Phi Christ to sustain current chapters in Los Angeles & Irvine, California, Boston, Kansas City, West Palm Beach & Jacksonville, Florida, Atlanta and Longs, South Carolina. While also being able to reach out and establish additional chapters of Imani Phi Christ throughout the  United States in order to reach a greater number of teenage girls annually.  With your gift by way of a purchase through the silent auction,  Imani can continue to help at risk young women of color MAXIMIZE their potential!
