In order to become a nonprofit member within the Charity Folks online community your organization must be a Tax-Deductible Organization in "good standing," or otherwise be eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. In other words, your organization must meet the requirements necessary to be treated as a public charity by the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS"), and we must not have received any information that your organization has problems with its public accountability. |
