Project Angel Food's mission is to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses.

Project Angel Food delivers free and nutritious meals prepared with love. We act out of a sense of urgency because hunger and illness cannot wait.

Our meals, prepared by professional chefs and volunteer assistants, are nutritious, attractive and always made with the freshest ingredients. Our registered dietitians provide clients with individual, nutritional counseling. There is no charge to clients for these services.

Love Heals, the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education, empowers young people to make informed choices by educating them about HIV/AIDS. Since 1992, Love Heals’ HIV-positive speakers and trained health educators have reached more than 250,000 young people with their lifesaving message.

Artists for a New South Africa (ANSA) is a non-profit organization working in the U.S. and South Africa to combat HIV/AIDS, assist children orphaned by the disease, advance civil and voting rights, educate and empower youth, and build bonds between our nations. ANSA works in partnership with effective grassroots organizations on the front lines of these issues and makes a substantial difference by providing funding, raising public awareness, building coalitions, mobilizing advocacy, and developing collaborative programs which address urgent needs. ANSA works strategically to address the root causes of problems and to achieve tangible, positive societal change.

Founded in 1989 by members of the arts and entertainment community to support South Africa’s struggle against apartheid, in the past 10 years ANSA has raised over $8 million for South African non-profits, shipped more than 70 tons of medical supplies and books to impoverished communities, and helped inform millions of people across the U.S. and the African continent about HIV/AIDS and voting rights.
